In the year 2017, in the village of Samtatskaro, municipality of Dedoplistskaro. In the field of Alazani River, was cultivated on 83 hectares walnut garden of the Nakashidzes (Nakashidzeebi’s).

The productive varieties of walnut were cultivated: Chandler 80%, Lara 10%, Howard 5% and other pollinating varieties 5%.

A primary walnut processing plant was built on an area of 2000 m2 adjacent to the walnut garden, French modern processing line has been installed, which can process 600 tons of walnuts in one season. In the 2027-2028 years, the full yield of the garden is expected, with the receipt of approximately 500-600 tons of walnuts.
